Do you need help to make a Universal Credit claim?

The Help to Claim service is changing from April 1st, 2022.  Bristol Citizens Advice is no longer running the Help to Claim service locally. If you need support to claim Universal Credit or have client who needs help to claim, please use one of the contact methods below to contact the national Help to Claim service.

They can support you to make a new claim for Universal Credit from opening your account to receiving your first full payment.  Our trained advisers can help you to:

  • Set-up your Universal Credit account
  • Complete your claim to-dos
  • Verify your identity
  • Make sure you’re providing the right evidence to the Jobcentre
  • Understand what Universal Credit will mean for you
