Salary: £26,843 FTE (Pro-rata – £16,106)

Bristol Citizens Advice is seeking a Money Advice Team Leader.

We are an independent local charity that provides free impartial confidential advice, information and support to anyone in Bristol and provides access to justice for all. We provide free confidential advice online, over the phone and in-person. We deliver targeted services to particularly disadvantaged groups and in the most deprived areas. We use evidence from our clients to raise awareness about the issues that adversely affect people’s lives.

The successful post holder will be responsible for managing a small Money Advice Team to achieve funder targets alongside delivering debt advice and managing their own caseload of clients, assisting them to achieve the best outcome for their circumstances. This will include advising clients on dealing with their priority and non- priority debts, debt solutions, budgeting and maximising income and negotiations/representations on behalf of our clients.
