During 2005/06 we worked with over 5,600 people, dealing with over 20,600 enquires. We managed debts worth over £7.8 million and raised over £820,000 on behalf of clients.
All this is achieved by a team of highly trained volunteer advisers who donate over 20,600 hours a year.
Our advice services enable people to manage their situation more effectively, reducing stress and improving relationships. Through the money advice process vital cash is freed to prevent homelessness and address other priority debts.
Money raised through ensuring uptake of income, health and carers’ benefits not only has a dramatic impact on the lives of individuals, but also impacts economic regeneration. |
We have an ambitious vision to develop our services over the next 3 years to enable even more people to benefit. Please help us bring this vision into reality by making a donation….
Examples of what your donation could help us achieve:
£5.00 – Provide 10 ‘self help’ packs for people experiencing financial difficulty
£14.00 – Will enable us address an enquiry
£350 – Would enable new computer to be bought and installed, helping us to increase the efficiency of our service
£1,500 – Would enable a new volunteer to be trained as an adviser
The above are just examples; any level of donation would enable us to help more people.
