Bristol 10km run
As part of our 40th anniversary celebrations, we are taking part in the Great Bristol 10km race.
We have grown from a small operation that first opened its doors in 1977 to become one of Bristol’s largest advice agencies that deals with over 32,000 enquiries each year. We help people with a wide range of issues, including debt, benefits, housing, family, immigration, employment – and everything in between! As an independent charity, our advice is always free, impartial and completely confidential.
Each decade has brought difficulties as a result of fluctuating economies and government policies. Most recently, the cuts to legal aid, benefits and essential services have deeply affected our clients. And as the cost of living continues to rise above wage growth, the problems facing the people we see are becoming more and more difficult.
Please help us by giving whatever you can by clicking the ‘Donate Now' button below. You will be taken to our fundraising page where you can make your donation easily and securely.
All the money we receive will go directly into keeping our charity operating and ensuring our services are as effective as possible.
Thank you in advance for your generosity.
Making a donation
For 40 years, Citizens Advice Bristol has been a vital part of the fabric of our city and much of the advice we provide helps boost the local economy.
Today, the demand for our services is greater than ever. Last year alone, we dealt with 32,648 enquiries locally and advised nearly 9,000 people living, working or visiting Bristol. At the same time, we are facing a challenging funding environment. As a charity, we rely on the support and generosity of companies, grant-making trusts and members of the public. People like you. We gratefully welcome any financial contribution, no matter how small.
All donations are very gratefully received and help keep our services going.
