The work of the Bristol Citizens Advice Bureau would not be possible without people like you. The majority of our staff are volunteers, dedicated to answering the many enquiries we receive each year.

There are many ways to get involved. You could train to be an Adviser or Gateway Assessor, help streamline the office admin systems, use your IT skills, language skills or knowledge of local communities, or become a Trustee.

  • Advisers - see clients by appointment and provide advice in all the key areas including benefits, debt, housing and employment. 
  • IT worker - If you have considerable expertise in IT maintenance and networks please complete the application form locate.  
  • Volunteer Information/Receptionist Roles  - We are currently looking for volunteers to provide support at our advice point, bureau reception and in our administration office. It is a dynamic role that keeps you on your toes, and is a great opportunity to gain experience in a demanding role which encompasses all aspects of customer service, administration and information support.  If you would like to apply for this position please complete the application form below.  During your induction period we would ask that you commit to two sessions a week in either the morning or the afternoon (these can be on the same day), however following this period we can be flexible to fit in with you.
